so i was at the DeviationxHyperdub warehouse party the other night at the CLF/Bussey Buildings (or chroniclovefoundation as i like to call it) and amongst all the ingenious, hard hitting music, including omar s’ relentless pounding kicks, kode9s classic everything mixed into one via jungle/footwork/house anthems, this song stuck in my head at the end of the night the most. Big up funkystepz! Killer, high-energy set from the boys b2b ill blu!
I know this release has been out for a while, but it really does come to life on 4 funktion1 stacks strategically placed in each corner of the room. The whole royal rumble EP is sick, go cop it at Juno or itunes
Etch smashes the vibe, with some 140bpm jungle/rave to start followed by some grim grime, and classic dubstep and on. Smashed it at Hyperbounce! BIG UP ETCH
OOOF! Just copped the new one he put up on soundcloud yesterday. Check this shit out.
Keep making the mistake of watching this new video from arca late at night.
Always good to see new stuff from arca, and unbelievably he is giving away his new release for free via UNONYC. Go check!
Lots of hype generated about the re-release of zombys classic ‘where were u in 92’ album, due to its re-release for record store day. Made me stumble across a rare mix by the man via DISCO DROPPINGS, featuring non-stop hardcore classics.
ALSO! this epic promo video.

INDO-HOUSE/DUGEM
So this by no means, is a full on account/history statement of what this scene is about, as i know very little about it myself, on a count of only knowing it through trawling through several videos on youtube, but what I can see is that it is like indonesias take on rave music, one that sounds like its drums are programmed to pop-rock setting like youd get on an old casio keyboard, traditional instruments wired through reason, and sidechained to a few well known western classics. And there very fond of their mixing, with tunes seamlessly flowing/dropping/changing for ages as well as ridiculous visuals!
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
On the above link you will find potentially the ultimate resource for all the latest indo house hits, on a you know how to use it blogspot even though its in another language, countless mediafire downloads (SOME DOWNLOAD SOME DONT) WARNING - trawling through this site may take forever. One for the hardcore heads only. Though i must say, pretty much every tune ive come across so far is a banger.

New very clever mix series from our favourite man about town Khris with a K, with the premise of a new 30min mix each week, all styles welcomed! This week comes Khris’ very own guilty pleasures mix, which is full of cringe inducing/horrible/amazing tunes mixed very fast, well worth a listen. Also make sure to check out the first one from Kanji Kinetic, a special mix of kanjis lost dubs. super spesh. Watch out for a vital team mix on its way :)
Dark eastern vibes in fatima al qadiri’s ‘love letter to london’. Amazing video and tune.
We have been in love with the mysterious fatima for quite some while, fully reppin muslim vibes crossing over into new electronic music in all forms, through her global.wav radio show (http://soundcloud.com/dismagazine/dis-magazines-global-wav-radio) and more recently her AYSHAY project, whos muslim trance vibes have got the attention of music lovers worldwide, with an amazing album release WARN-U and mix for fact magazine. She also writes an excellent article for DIS magazine called global.wav. Check and follow this amazing artist
Ok, so not exactly a “new” talent, but everynow and again we here at dungeon bounce get on a nostalgic hype. BRING BACK MR.WONG! *Update, it turns out he plays football with our mate frank, at his weekly 5 a side. hehehehehe. Good luck trying to find this on juno/beatport. It also turns out that he produces all his own tunes too before you write him off. Huge orchestral productions on ‘not a hater’, are epic.

Back on the gig thing in a few weeks in camberwell, top vibes all round on this new up and coming night, big up to BROSEPH for having us down.
